       Habitat Works volunteers work in the field directly in the habitats of these and other imperiled species, performing special projects to enhance their survivorship during critical recovery periods.  
     We help wildlife living in multiuse areas, as well as isolated populations of rare plants and animals.  These are hands on projects where the results of your efforts are seen at the end of the day, and have a direct impact on species recovery.
